Dr. Julie Ducharme recently completed her endocrinology fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Prior to that, she attended medical school and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Ducharme is committed to providing high quality care, evaluation, and treatment of patients with endocrine-related disorders. She has a special interest in managing diabetes, thyroid, and metabolic bone diseases (such as osteoporosis).
Dr. Ducharme is seeing patients in the Wound Center located on the second floor of Harford Memorial Hospital. In addition, she is immediately available for inpatient consults at Harford Memorial Hospital and can be reached at 443-843-6100.

Dr. Sung (Sonny) Kim joined Upper Chesapeake Surgical Associates in September 2007. Dr. Kim earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Irvine and his medical degree at Howard University in Washington, D.C. In addition to completing a general surgery residency and serving as chief resident, he completed a two year fellowship in advanced minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Kim has been in private practice in Takoma Park, Maryland for the past three years. He has proctored other surgeons on cutting edge, laparoscopic techniques. Although Dr. Kim is experienced in all aspects of general surgery, he has a special interest in gastrointestinal, thyroid, and breast procedures. He can be reached at 410-939-0700.
