Chest Pain Observation Units The units are located within the Harford Memorial Hospital and Upper Chesapeake Medical Center Emergency Departments. We provide rapid, specialized services to determine whether a patient's chest pain is due to a heart attack. Care is driven by protocols that govern when and how tests are performed to rule out a heart attack. Intensive Care and Telemetry Unit Our Intensive and Progressive Care Units at Harford Memorial Hospital and Upper Chesapeake Medical Center provide continuous heart monitoring for patients who require hospitalization. The units are staffed by critical care physicians 24 hours a day.
